Free Community Classes
At Namaste Yoga + Wellness, we believe that yoga and mindfulness practices should be available to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. Our free and donation-based community classes reflect this core value by removing cost as a barrier to participation. These classes are offered on a regular basis and are open to all experience levels, from complete beginners to seasoned practitioners. Whether you are curious about yoga for the first time, navigating a period of financial hardship, or simply looking for a welcoming space to practice, our community classes provide the same quality instruction and warm atmosphere that define everything we do at our Oakland studio.
Community classes cover a range of styles and formats, from gentle hatha and restorative sessions to more active vinyasa flows and meditation circles. Each class is led by one of our experienced instructors who brings the same dedication and expertise to these offerings as to any class on our regular schedule. Donations are gratefully accepted but never required, and no one is ever turned away for inability to contribute. This model is sustained by the generosity of our broader community, including studio members, teachers who volunteer their time, and local partners who share our commitment to making wellness accessible across the East Bay.
